Desarrollo de modelos computacionales de superficies catalíticas, interfaces y de sólidos 3D; realización de cálculos basados en la mecánica cuántica aplicados a "slab" o a sistemas 3D extendidos espacialmente aplicados a estudiar el comportamiento catalítico de superficies y la interacción superficie-adsorbato. También se estudia la absorción de distintos elementos en el interior de sólidos 3D (bulk) y la migración de átomos en una interface. El punto de partida son los elementos intervinientes y una razonable información estructural. Por tanto, se puede así predecir y orientar el diseño de materiales con la asistencia computacional. Se pretende desarrollar al cálculo como una herramienta interpretativa y predictiva. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
