Me desempeño estudiando la ecología de los bosques secos estacionales del centro de Argentina, especialmente la regeneración de las especies leñosas y su respuesta ante distintos factores ambientales y disturbios antrópicos. He abordado estos temas mediante estudios observacionales y experimentales, tanto a campo como en laboratorio, y mediante el uso de técnicas dendrocronológicas.
