Desde el comienzo de mi tesis doctoral, mis temas de investigación han evolucionado gradualmente dentro del ámbito de la toxicología. Durante las etapas doctoral y postdoctoral desarrollé temas ecotoxicológicos, relacionados a la biología reproductiva de Pomacea canaliculata; ingresando a la CIC de CONICET con estos temas (2008). Entre 2009 y 2011, trabajé en el exterior, estudiando la aplicación de mifepristone como quimioterápico, orientando mi trabajo a la toxicología de medicamentos. A mi r... Desde el comienzo de mi tesis doctoral, mis temas de investigación han evolucionado gradualmente dentro del ámbito de la toxicología. Durante las etapas doctoral y postdoctoral desarrollé temas ecotoxicológicos, relacionados a la biología reproductiva de Pomacea canaliculata; ingresando a la CIC de CONICET con estos temas (2008). Entre 2009 y 2011, trabajé en el exterior, estudiando la aplicación de mifepristone como quimioterápico, orientando mi trabajo a la toxicología de medicamentos. A mi regreso al país, en el 2011, comencé con el desarrollo de proyectos relacionados al estudio de citotoxicidad inducido por nanopartículas y derivados vegetales. Desde entonces, la principal línea de investigación desarrollada tiene como objetivo el estudio de las propiedades antitumorales de vegetales autóctonos mendocinos, línea de investigación propia, para la cual he obtenido subsidios, recursos humanos, publicaciones y he formado el Laboratorio de Fitomedicina, en el IMBECU-UNCuyo, CCT Mendoza CONICET, constituyendo una red de investigación que se extiende dentro y fuera del país.
