Se estudian aspectos bioquímicos y moleculares de la interacción entre los hongos entomopatógenos y sus hospedadores, incluyendo los mecanismos involucrados en la virulencia frente a insectos y en la interacción con plantas como endófito. Se estudian además la emisión y percepción de señales y la resistencia metabólica a insecticidas, siempre con perspectivas de aplicación en el control biológico de plagas. Se emplean técnicas como PCR cuantitativa a tiempo real, RNAseq, clonado, silenciamiento y expresión de genes, expresión heteróloga y purificación de proteínas, electroantenografía y cromatografía gaseosa acoplada a espectrometría de masa. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
