La formación de la Dra Martin está centrada principalmente en el estudio de varias especies reactivas de interés ambiental, importantes por su reactividad y por su abundancia, ya que durante su tesis doctoral estudió la reacción de sustancias húmicas con los radicales oxidantes: radicales aniones bibromuro (Br2.-), el átomo de bromo (Br.) y, los radicales azida (N3.) e hidroxilo (HO.) cuando investigó de qué manera afecta a los procesos oxidativos avanzados (AOPs) la presencia de materia orgánica en suelos y aguas naturales. Durante el trabajo postdoctoral ha sintetizado por el método de sol-gel dióxido de titanio sin dopar y dopado con Ce en diferentes proporciones (0.05-1.0 % atómico nominal). Los catalizadores resultantes se caracterizaron por difracción de rayos X, espectroscopía de reflectancia difusa UV-visible, espectroscopía RAMAN, espectroscopía FTIR, medición de área superficial BET y microscopía electrónica de barrido. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
