Los temas de investigación en los que he estado involucrada desde 2001, incluyen: (a) el estudio de cómo la pobreza afecta al desarrollo autorregulatorio (cognitivo y emocional) infantil, considerando distintos niveles de organización; (b) el diseño, implementación y evaluación de impacto de programas de intervención orientados a optimizar el desempeño cognitivo de niños y niñas de nivel inicial y primer ciclo del nivel primario en contextos de pobreza; (c) el análisis de las trayectorias de los procesos autorregulatorios en poblaciones infantiles con y sin vulnerabilidad social, y la identificación de perfiles de desempeño; y (d) la identificación de factores moduladores y mediadores (asociados a las características individuales, socio-ambientales, y a las experiencias infantiles) del impacto de la pobreza en el desempeño autorregulatorio, y del impacto de las intervenciones (en estudios sincrónicos y longitudinales). *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
