My interest is mainly on the signaling mechanisms involved in the plasticity of the nervous system, in normal and pathological conditions. The fields of application concern drug addiction and Attention-Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). My research career has exploited several experimental approaches, at the level of protein biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, primary cultured neurons, as well as behavioral modeling, focusing in understanding cellular and molecular events underlying neurodevelopmental disorders. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
