Durante mi carrera he realizado diferentes actividades que comenzaron en la búsqueda y caracterización de genes de resistencia a los antimicrobianos en aislamientos bacterianos de importancia clínica. Actualmente me dedico a investigar sobre la enfermedad de Chagas, poniendo foco en la caracterización de nuevos blancos moleculares, la búsqueda de fármacos tripanocidas y el desarrollo de nanopartículas para el tratamiento de dicha enfermedad. En este contexto, estudio principalmente enzimas del metabolismo energético como las nucleósido difosfato quinasas y los transportadores de nutrientes del parásito Trypanosoma cruzi. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
