Mi área de investigación es la Parasitología, con especial dedicación a las enfermedades producidas por protozoarios apicomplexa. Las principales técnicas que domino son las de diagnóstico serológico (inmunofluorescencia indirecta, western blot y ELISA, entre las más usadas) y las de diagnóstico molecular como PCR, nested PCR-RFLP, PCR en tiempo real y secuenciación y análisis de secuencias. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
