I work on the experimental and theoretical study of turbulent flows, with applications in astrophysics, geophysics, and atmospheric sciences. In the field of fluid dynamics, my expertise includes the application of statistical methods for the characterization and analysis of turbulent flows, spectral analysis of multi-scale and multi-physics phenomena (Fourier, Wavelets, Hilbert-Huang and POD-Koopman), and sub-grid modeling for turbulent flows (POD - ROM). I also became interested in experiment... I work on the experimental and theoretical study of turbulent flows, with applications in astrophysics, geophysics, and atmospheric sciences. In the field of fluid dynamics, my expertise includes the application of statistical methods for the characterization and analysis of turbulent flows, spectral analysis of multi-scale and multi-physics phenomena (Fourier, Wavelets, Hilbert-Huang and POD-Koopman), and sub-grid modeling for turbulent flows (POD - ROM). I also became interested in experimental aspects of fluid dynamics (two- dimensional Turbulence) applied to the studyof geophysical flows. My expertise includes using experimental techniques like PIV,Schlieren and interferometry.
