Mi especialidad es el Análisis del Movimiento Humano (AMH), apuntando específicamente al desarrollo, evaluación e implementación clínica de herramientas de análisis y tratamientos clínicos en la rehabilitación de pacientes con limitaciones motrices, principalmente en amputados de miembro inferior. El AMH utiliza equipamiento específico como sistemas ópticos para la captura de datos cinemáticos, combinados con plataforma de fuerzas para la captura de datos cinéticos, electromiografía de superficie para el registro de la actividad eléctrica muscular y sistemas portátiles de medición de presiones plantares. Las señales son luego procesadas y analizadas utilizando algoritmos computacionales. Los resultados de la investigación apuntan, tanto a mejorar nuestra comprensión de la marcha, como a encontrar herramientas o técnicas que permitan una evaluación más completa del estado motriz del paciente en un dado instante de su tratamiento o una selección más adecuada del tratamiento para el paciente. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
