Research Interests: I am interested in several aspects of the Physics and Mechanics of soft, synthetic, bio-inspired and biological materials. To understand the complex behavior of these macroscopic systems my approach isexperimental and also theoretical by using the concepts and formulations of continuum mechanics, differential geometryand nonlinear physics. In particular I am interested in: Morpho-Mechanics of slender structures(Rods, plates, shells), Contact Mechanics of soft polymeric materials(Adhesion, friction, fracture and roughness), Morphogenesis and Mechanics of biological tissues(Fibrotic tissues, biofilms, biomembranes and roots), Nonlinear Elasticity and Plasticity, Differential geometry of surfaces and curves, Instabilities and nonlinear physics, Reaction-diffusion systems *Información suministrada por el agente en SIGEVA
