Investigo la diversidad, biogeografía y evolución de arañas, buscando conocer a las especies que existen, como se distribuyen en el espacio y los factores que llevaron a su diversificación. Tengo experiencia en taxonomía, descripción de especies, manejo de datos de biodiversidad, ilustración científica, microscopía electrónica de barrido, programación en lenguaje R, secuenciación de ADN, sistemática molecular, filogeografía y biogeografía. Trabajo en diferentes grupos de arañas, incluidos algunos de importancia médica (familia Sicariidae). Los estudios de diversidad que desarrollo potencialmente sirven de base para la toma de decisiones para la conservación de estos grupos. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
