Bioecología de anfibios anuros, técnicas de inducción artificial de la reproducción y cría controlada en cautiverio. Diseño y ejecución de bioensayos de toxicidad aguda/crónica para evaluar efectos de plaguicidas, metales pesados y fármacos sobre biota no blanco. Evaluación de puntos finales a nivel individual (mortalidad, anormalidades morfológicas, comportamiento) y subindividual (bioquímicos y genéticos). Desarrollo de técnicas no invasivas en el ámbito de la Ecotoxicología. Análisis de datos estadísticos. El objetivo final de mis investigaciones es diseñar y aplicar herramientas de diagnóstico de contaminación ambiental, utilizando biota autóctona como indicadora de estrés de los ecosistemas acuáticos en los cuales habitan, que revelen efectos a diferentes niveles de organización ecológica para su posterior incorporación en programas de conservación de ecosistemas autóctonos. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
