I have worked on the problem of how galaxies trace the matter distribution in the universe, and how they can be used to constrain cosmological parameters, the nature of dark matter, and gravity. I work on these problems both from the theory and observational sides. As a member of the GALFORM collaboration I work on automatizing the calibration of the galaxy formation model, and with the SHED collaboration we find ways to populate galaxies in modified gravity models. I am also a member of the S... I am also a member of the SDSS-IV, MOONS and DESC-LSST collaborations, with the aim of putting our numerical results to the test in the real Universe.I have also taught several undergrad and postgrad courses in Astrophysics since 2003.
