Como antropóloga trabajo desde la etnografía y métodos cualitativos analizando la cuestión social y cultural contemporánea, principalmente en el intento de comprender las lógicas de acción y sentido de los sujetos y las relaciones de poder en que se enmarcan. Me interesan particularmente las cuestiones urbanas, la condición juvenil y las multiples dimensiones de la desigualdad. Los resultados se aplican en el campo de las políticas públicas, en las acciones organizadas que los actores con los que investigo decidan y en la disputa en el debate público.
