La investigadora se especializa en estudios de geología del Cuaternario de ambientes continentales y en particular en el análisis de sistemas fluviales del Cuaternario tardío y de ambientes de interacción fluvio-eólica en regiones áridas del centro-oeste de Argentina (geomorfología, estratigrafía, sedimentología y paleopedología, caracterización composicional de sedimento), para la determinación de las condiciones paleoambientales y paleoclimáticas de los mismos y su evolución, y el análisis de procesos actuales que modelan el paisaje. El enfoque de trabajo es interdisciplinario y multidisciplinario. Participa también en el estudio de depósitos neógenos del centro de Argentina (i.e. Mioceno tardío de la prov. de La Pampa) y en proyectos geoarqueológicos abordando el análisis de formación de sitios a distintas escalas (de sitio, local y regional). *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
