DRA. MARIANA ANDREA PERALTA. Licenciada en Química Farmacéutica (Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, 2002), Doctora en Ciencias Químicas (UNC, 2011). Realizó sus estudios de posgrado en el Laboratorio de Farmacognosia, Dpto. de Ciencias Farmacéuticas, Facultad de Ciencias Químicas, UNC. Posee formación y experticia en el estudio químico y de actividad biológica de compuestos de origen natural. Conoce y maneja diferentes metodologías de extracción, aislamiento y dilucidación estructural de metabolitos secundarios y posee experiencia en el manejo de técnicas cromatográficas para la purificación de compuestos a partir de plantas autóctonas y medicinales. Realiza estudios de actividad biológica de productos naturales in vitro: actividad antifúngica en Candida albicans, evaluación de la actividad inhibitoria sobre transporte activo de antifúngicos en hongos resistentes, inhibición de la formación de estructuras de resistencia microbiana como los biofilms. Desde el año 2014 se desempeña como Investigadora Asistente y a partir del año 2017 como Investigadora Adjunta (IMBIV, CONICET). *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
