My research interests are the development and implementation of physical-chemistry modules in Global Chemistry-Climate Models (CAM-Chem, CESM) and Regional Chemical Transport Models (WRF/Chem, CMAq etc.) and its application in the study of the global/regional atmospheric chemistry and air quality. Fields of interests are: i) climatic impact of VSL halogen chemistry both in the troposphere and stratosphere, ii) oceanic and polar tropospheric chemistry; iii) ice-, ocean- and land- based emission ...
My research interests are the development and implementation of physical-chemistry modules in Global Chemistry-Climate Models (CAM-Chem, CESM) and Regional Chemical Transport Models (WRF/Chem, CMAq etc.) and its application in the study of the global/regional atmospheric chemistry and air quality. Fields of interests are: i) climatic impact of VSL halogen chemistry both in the troposphere and stratosphere, ii) oceanic and polar tropospheric chemistry; iii) ice-, ocean- and land- based emission sources, iv) parameterization of heterogeneous recycling processes, v) air quality forecasting; vi) the chemistry-meteorology interaction, vii) past/future projections of anthropogenic and natural emissions, viii) the short-wave and long-wave radiative transfer calculations, ix) the application of inverse modeling and data assimilation techniques, x) the validation/verification of results by satellite or monitoring data; among others.
