Mi trabajo se relaciona con la sistemática y taxonomía de escorpiones neotropicales, en base a caracteres morfológicos y moleculares. Mi experticia abarca desde la taxonomía Alfa, incluyendo la descripción de taxones nuevos, hasta análisis filogenéticos en base a caracteres morfológicos y marcadores moleculares (nucleares y mitocondriales).Trabajo además estudios en citogenética de escorpiones tratando de integrar los datos que aporta esta línea de estudio a los trabajos de sistemática.
