Investigadora especializada en inmunidad de mucosas y de la glándula mamaria, con especial interés en la modulación de respuestas inmunes mediante polisacáridos biocompatibles. Su experiencia abarca técnicas inmunológicas como inmunofluorescencia, citometría de flujo, cultivo celular, ELISA y Western-Blot, así como biología molecular (PCR, RT-PCR y qPCR). Ha desarrollado estrategias de inmunomodulación para enfermedades autoinmunes mediante terapias de tolerancia oral en modelos experimentales. Actualmente, su investigación se centra en los mecanismos de evasión inmune y la patogenicidad de Staphylococcus spp. en la glándula mamaria bovina, además de explorar el uso de polisacáridos naturales, vitaminas y recursos de la microbiota como herramientas terapéuticas innovadoras para la reducción del uso de antibióticos en el tratamiento de la mastitis bovina. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
