Actualmente desarrollo dos líneas de trabajo. Por un lado, estudio los cambios registrados en las comunidades bentónicas marinas sudamericanas que son consecuencia de un evento climático global (glacial-interglacial) que ocurrieron durante el Paleozoico. Estoy interesada en temas de escala macroevolutiva de la paleobiología, como eventos de extinción masiva y recuperación de las paleocomunidades y en patrones de diversificación que han ocurrido durante el Fanerozoico. A nivel global, cuestiones sobre todo paleogeográficas y paleobiogeográficas. Durante el Paleozoico aparecen grandes novedades taxonómicas y ecológicas, ya que son el resultado de eventos bióticos de escala macroevolutiva. Actualmente, soy investigadora asistente, y estudio los patrones paleoecológicos presentes braquiópodos y bivalvos del Paleozoico Superior. Además, recientemente sumé una nueva línea de investigación en relación con la protección del Patrimonio Paleontológico. En particular, sobre los afloramientos de la Formación Balcarce (Paleozoico Inferior), que son abundantes en el Sudeste de Buenos Aires. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
