Durante mi carrera he desarrollado e implementado diferentes soluciones en áreas de ingeniería médica, física y biología. Mis experticias involucran diseño y desarrollo de herramientas microfluídicas junto con el uso de diferentes técnicas microscópicas, y el análisis y procesamientos de bioimágenes. He estudio suspensiones celulares, focalizándome en como la presencia de estas partículas activas modifican el medio en que viven y como el medio influye en su comportamiento. Entre estos temas po... Durante mi carrera he desarrollado e implementado diferentes soluciones en áreas de ingeniería médica, física y biología. Mis experticias involucran diseño y desarrollo de herramientas microfluídicas junto con el uso de diferentes técnicas microscópicas, y el análisis y procesamientos de bioimágenes. He estudio suspensiones celulares, focalizándome en como la presencia de estas partículas activas modifican el medio en que viven y como el medio influye en su comportamiento. Entre estos temas podemos mencionar: microreología, direccionamiento celular mediante flujo o arreglos geométricos, quimioatrayentes o cualquier agente físico/químico que permita la manipulación celular a microescala, y la adhesión a superficies solidas con la consecuente formación de biopelículas. También, he comenzado a participar en proyectos relacionados con sistemas de liberación de drogas, toxicidad en modelos animales y estudio de biomateriales biológicos y metodologías para determinar biocompatibilidad.
