Mi área principal de trabajo se centra en ecología de la vegetación en zonas de montaña, en relación al pastoreo, principalmente de sistemas pastoriles puneños y altoandinos. Integro enfoques de disciplinas como biología de la conservación, modelado ecológico, ecología de la vegetación, edafología, botánica, ecología de paisajes, planificación de los agroecosistemas entre otras. Las técnicas que utilizo se centran en el trabajo de campo (muestreo de vegetación y caracterización del manejo ganadero), reconocimiento taxonómico de especies vegetales, herramientas de SIG y teledetección, y análisis estadístico y visualización de datos con R. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
