En particular, focalizo en la historia de las prácticas científicas, la cultura material y las interacciones sociales generadas en torno a las investigaciones sobre el espacio marítimo y la fauna sudamericana. También he trabajado sobre la historia de la enseñanza científica, los museos regionales y las colecciones escolares. He adquirido pericia en la búsqueda de documentación en diferentes archivos y en la organización de archivos institucionales.
