Nuestro laboratorio posee experiencia en evaluar las respuestas bioquímicas de las plantas cuando son expuestas a condiciones ambientales adversas para su crecimiento. Entre los factores de estrés hemos trabajado con concentraciones elevadas de metales y de sal, radiación UV-B, restricción hídrica, entre otros. Las investigaciones incluyen diferentes especies vegetales (como trigo, soja, girasol, papa, Arabidopsis thaliana) cultivadas en tierra, soportes inertes o sistemas hidropónicos. Usamos diferentes modelos de estudio, como planta entera, discos de hoja, tejidos desdiferenciados y estructuras simbióticas de plantas. Los estudios incluyen técnicas bioquímicas (determinaciones de actividad enzimática, zimogramas, inmunoelectroforesis, inmunopecipitación), de biología molecular, de microscopía (óptica, epifluorescencia y confocal) y diferentes determinaciones analíticas. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
