Mi experiencia personal está centrada el estudio de la resistencia a la corrosión de metales en diversos fluidos. Para llevar adelante estas líneas aplico principalmente técnicas electroquímicas de corriente continua y alterna y técnicas de análisis superficial (SEM, DRX; Raman). Los estudios de corrosión pueden aplicarse a diversas áreas como es la industria del petróleo, donde realizo trabajos de transferencia y de investigación básica. En los últimos años me he centrado en la modificación superficial de metales para mejorar la integración ósea por medio de recubrimientos sol gel y por anodizado . En el área de biomateriales dirijo la línea de investigación que se desarrolla en la División Electroquímica y Corrosión en este temática, trabajando también con el Hospital General Interzonal de Agudos Oscar Alende de Mar del Plata. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
