Dr B. Socías. Durante su doctorado se capacitó en el área de microbiología y genética estudiando genes bacterianos de resistencia a antibióticos. Realizó postdoctorados en el Departamento de Microbiología e Inmunología de la Universidad de British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canadá (2010), donde estudió el efecto de compuestos de interés farmacológico sobre la expresión génica en bacterias relevantes en salud humana; en el Centre de Recherche de l´Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle épiniere (CRICM), UPMC, Sorbonne Université, París, Francia (2013-2014) y en el Laboratoire de Recherche sur la Croissance Cellulaire, la Réparation et la Régénération Tissulaires, CRRET, Université Paris Est Créteil, Créteil, Francia (2015), donde trabajó en enfermedades neurodegenerativas humanas.
