Lingüista de corte funcionalista con experiencia en trabajo de campo con comunidades originarias de América Latina. En particular he desarrollado extensas campañas en terreno con los grupos ayoreos del Paraguay. Me he especializado en técnicas de trabajo de campo, documentación lingüística y trabajo de campo participativo. Mis áreas de interés son la morfosintaxis, referencialidad y arte verbal. Domino programas especializados como ELAN, FLex, Arbil, CMDI Maker, RPGui, etc.También me interesa la divulgación de la labor científica, razón por la cual conduje el ciclo televisivo de Canal Encuentro "Guardianes de la Lengua".
