Master en Química por la Universidad Federal de Goiás (Goiânia-Brasil), en el área de concentración en Química Analítica. Tiene experiencia en el campo de la microfabricación y microfluídica utilizando materiales poliméricos y sustratos de papel, así como las aplicaciones de estos sistemas. Ha trabajado con el desarrollo de microsistemas para diagnóstico clínico, química forense, control de calidad de los alimentos y química ambiental, con el objetivo de cumplir con el punto de atención y como una alternativa instrumental a los métodos convencionales de análisis.
