Desde 1981 desarrollo actividad en: 1) catálisis heterogénea aplicada a procesos petroquímicos [combustibles por métodos no convencionales; metanol y gas de síntesis a HC superiores; isomerización de alcanos sobre superácidos; isomerización esquelética de buteno; deshidroisomerización de butano en reactores cromatográficos; producción de aminas alifáticas inferiores; combustibles reformulados y renovables de bajo impacto ambiental; desactivación y regeneración de catalizadores], 2) química fina [obtención de ácidos carboxílicos y aldehídos de alto peso molecular; hidrogenación de aceites vegetales] y 3) actualmente valorización de recursos renovables en entorno de Biorrefinerías [conversión de glicerol a compuestos con valor agregado (reducción selectiva a propanodioles y etilenglicol; oxidación selectiva a dihidroxiacetona y ácido láctico; eterificación con butenos; carbonilación directa) o con valor energético (hidrógeno o gas de síntesis por reformado en fase gas; metanol por hidrogenólisis); y desarrollo de plastificantes (transesterificación y epoxidación de aceites vegetales)]. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
