Soy geofísica, especializada en sismología volcánica. Mis investigaciones se centran en el análisis y procesamiento de señales sísmicas, tanto para sismología clásica como para el estudio de la dinámica interna de volcanes y la identificación de procesos asociados a la actividad eruptiva (hidrotermalismo). Desde el año 2023 formo parte del equipo de monitoreo y procesamiento de datos sismológicos del IGSV que brinda servicios tecnológicos a un consorcio de empresas petroleras. Participo activamente en proyectos de divulgación científica; actualmente, gracias a la co-dirección de un proyecto de extensión, me involucre enteramente en el desarrollo de "material didáctico educativo" para la enseñanza de prevención sísmica y sismología básica, orientado principalmente a educación primaria. Mi línea de investigación y trabajo integra el estudio de la sismicidad volcánica, el modelado de fuentes sísmicas y la comunicación de la ciencia en contextos sociales y educativos. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
