Trabajo en el estudio celular y molecular de senescencia en células trisomicas aneuploides humanas. Inicialmente, nos enfocamos en Síndrome de Down (la trisomía con mayor incidencia), y extendimos nuestros estudios a Síndrome de Patau (trisomía 13) ynSíndrome de Edwards (trisomía 18). Estamos estudiando los mecanísmos moleculares asociados a la presencia de una copia extra de cromosomas en estas tres aneuploidías, lo que tienen en común y lo que tienen en particular cada uno.
