Durante mi doctorado me especialicé en álgebra no (necesariamente) conmutativa, especialmente en el estudio de álgebras envolventes cuantizadas de álgebras de Lie y otros grupos cuánticos asociados, desde la perspectiva de la "Geometría algebraica no conmutativa". Mi principal campo de trabajo es la aplicación de técnicas combinatorias y homológicas al estudio de las álgebras no conmutativas conocidas como "grupos cuánticos", inspirado en los trabajos clásicos del álgebra conmutativa.
