En el Instituto Nacional de Limnología estoy en el laboratorio de Macrocrustáceos en donde me dedico a la biología y ecología de los crustáceos decápodos dulciacuícolas (camarones, cangrejos, langostas y aéglidos). En el grupo que dirijo realizo trabajos en sistemática, biogeografía, ecología trófica, ecología poblacional, ecología reproductiva, biología del desarrollo, biología estructural del grupo aplicada a toxicología. Además se realizan trabajos aplicados a la acuicultura, conservación y ecotoxicología reconocidos en el concepto de servicio ecosistémico. Todos estos trabajos enmarcados en la dinámica de los sistemas acuáticos continentales, por ello la limnología de América del Sur es un aspecto de experiencia, como así también los aspectos de contaminación ambiental y conservación. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
