Actualmente estudia la influencia genética y ambiental sobre la piel humana mediante el estudio de imágenes hiperespectrales junto con datos genómicos y genealógicos provenientes de una colaboración internacional con la Escuela Médica de la Universidad de São Paulo (Brasil) y la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (España). Ha realizado capacitaciones en procesamiento de imágenes, minería de datos, aprendizaje de máquina y procesamiento de datos genómicos. Miembro del programa PoblAr, cuyo objetivo es la conformación del primer biobanco de referencia genómica y metadatos asociados de la población argentina. Además es docente en la Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia San Juan Bosco.
