Mi campo de trabajo es la fabricación y caracterización de nanoestructuras de semiconductores y óxidos conductores transparentes (nano y mesoporosos, nanohilos, nanopartículas, películas delgadas). Las técnicas de fabricación en las cuales me especializo incluyen métodos electroquímicos, sputtering, arrastre de vapor, Sol-Gel y síntesis solvotermal. En cuanto a la caracterización y estudio de las propiedades físicas y químicas de nanoestructuras, he trabajado en la caracterización eléctrica (curvas I-V, corriente transitoria, fotoconducción), caracterización de defectos a través de técnicas de corriente estimulada térmicamente, fotoluminiscencia, DRX, EPR, espectroscopía FTIR, SEM y TEM. Mi trabajo está orientado a la fabricación de dispositivos con aplicaciones en la industria optoelectrónica y fotovoltaica, específicamente diodos emisores de luz, fotodetectores ultravioleta y celdas solares.
