El trabajo consiste en el procesamiento y análisis de muestras de zooplancton marino, clasificando e identificando los diferentes grupos y especies a las que pertenecen los organismos. Con estos datos se analizan las relaciones ecológicas de las diferentes especies en la comunidad entre sí y con los factores ambientales que caracterizan el ecosistema marino. Las técnicas utilizadas son el trabajo con microscopía óptica, uso de claves dicotómicas, disecciones del material biológico, toma de muestras de campo en campañas oceanográficas, análisis multivariados, análisis de agrupamiento, de componentes principales, de correspondencia. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
