Como ingeniera en biotecnología me he preparado para el diseño y asistencia de proyectos científicos, enfocados al desarrollo sustentable y sostenible de recursos naturales, empleando herramientas biotecnológicas. Tengo un alto interés en el estudio de los efectos toxicológicos de contaminantes emergentes sobre los ecosistemas acuáticos, y el estudio de especies centinelas que sirvan como bioindicadores para el monitoreo de los efectos de contaminación antropogénica en la salud del medio ambiente. Me gusta compartir e impartir conocimientos, a través de la vinculación para la toma de decisiones que fomente el uso racional y responsable de la mega-biodiversidad de latinoamérica, y que ayuden a la mitigación del cambio global.
