Mi trayectoria académica y profesional se desarrolla en el campo de la arquitectura y urbanismo sostenible, haciendo foco en el estudio del paisaje cultural como construcción social e histórica. Mediante el estudio del paisaje indago en la articulación entre factores sociales, ecológicos y económicos a diferentes escalas, tanto temporales como espaciales, centrándome en dos puntos. Por un lado, la construcción histórica del paisaje, haciendo uso del concepto de patrimonio para rescatar los valores y elementos identitarios de un territorio. Por otro lado, el estudio del paisaje como expresión de las transformaciones territoriales, con la finalidad de reconocer diferentes paisajes y sus características en la actualidad, para el aportar lineamientos o recomendaciones en acciones de planificación en zonas de interfaz urbano-rural. Para ello, utilizo principalmente triangulación entre métodos de tipo cualitativo y cuantitativo. Anteriormente, he estudiado el hábitat rural y la vivienda vernácula indagando en estrategias sostenibles desplegadas por la población local. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
