Mis estudios se centran en la caracterización citogenética, través de técnicas convencionales (bandeos C y Ag-NORs) y fluorocromos (DAPI/CMA3), de géneros basales de la familia Bufonidae, con el fin de conocer la diversidad cariotípica del grupo y poder así, contribuir al conocimiento que permita interpretar su evolución cromosómica.
