Sistemas catalíticos heterogéneos para el control de emisiones al ambiente y obtención de sustancias de química fina por oxidación de glicerina en fase líquida. Formulación, síntesis y caracterización de catalizadores. Técnicas de caracterización: reducción a temperatura programada (TPR); oxidación a temperatura programada (TPO); quimisorción dinámica de pulsos de CO; difracción de rayos X (DRX); espectroscopía infrarroja con transformada de Fourier (FTIR); espectroscopia fotoelectrónica de rayos X (XPS); análisis termogravimétricos (TGA). Diseño, construcción, montaje y puesta a en marcha de sistemas reaccionantes continuos, semicontinuos y discontinuos. Reactores tubulares de lecho fijo, reactores mezcla perfecta tipo slurry. Análisis de sustancias por cromatografía gaseosa (GC) y cromatografía líquida de alta presión (HPLC).Uso de softwares de simulacion de procesos. Analisis de datos de equilibrio.
