Mi trayectoria evolucionó desde el estudio de mecanismos de toxicidad hacia el desarrollo de aplicaciones basadas en nanomateriales. Actualmente trabajo en el diseño, funcionalización y evaluación de nanopartículas y partículas magnéticas de óxido de hierro para aplicaciones biomédicas. Investigo cómo sus propiedades fisicoquímicas y superficiales modulan su desempeño funcional, en particular su actividad catalítica tipo Fenton en microambientes tumorales hipóxicos, utilizando modelos tridimensionales de esferoides celulares. En paralelo, desarrollo estrategias de captura selectiva de exosomas mediante partículas magnéticas funcionalizadas con aptámeros, integrando ingeniería de superficies y reconocimiento molecular. Mi trabajo se centra en la relación estructura?función y en el desarrollo de plataformas diagnósticas y terapéuticas basadas en nanomateriales magnéticos.
