Estudio el fenómeno de la cognición. Particularmente, realicé investigaciones en memoria y aprendizaje en diversos grupos animales (e.g.cangrejos, peces, roedores, insectos). Más recientemente comencé investigar este fenómeno en seres en humanos, tanto en investigaciones en neurociencia social (estudiando procesos de empatía y altruismo) y en etno-biología (estudiando conocimientos ecológico-tradicionales en poblaciones locales).
