Mi interés principal es el estudio de los efectos de la intensificación y expansión de las prácticas agrícola sobre la biodiversidad. Para mi tesis doctoral utilicé como especie modelo al Halcón Plomizo (Falco femoralis), un ave rapaz potencialmente susceptible a las modificaciones de los ambientes en los que habita, debido a su dependencia de otras especies de aves por su elevado carácter ornitófago y por ser nidificador secundario, además de ser una especie poco estudiada en Sudamérica. En la actualidad continúo desarrollando actividades relacionadas a agroecosistemas y aves rapaces, como la evaluación de su exposición a agroquímicos en especial insecticidas y también la relación entre la presencia de estas aves con la biodiversidad y su rol como indicadoras. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
