Mis estudios se centran en aportar nuevas evidencias para la comprensión y reconstrucción de la historia paleoambiental y evolutiva de los moluscos marinos del Cuaternario. Particularmente realizar estudios tafonómicos y paleoecológicos en ensambles de moluscos fósiles y actuales con la finalidad de comprender los patrones y procesos bióticos y abióticos acontecidos a lo largo del Cuaternario, que pueden quedar registrados en dichos ensambles.
