Lic y Dra en Cs. Químicas. Durante mi tesis doctoral estudié el mecanismo de fotoiniciación de polimerización vinílica en solución acuosa. En mi estancia posdoctoral en INTEMA comencé con la síntesis y caracterización de materiales poliméricos nanoestructurados basados en silsesquioxanos. En el año 2011 introduje esta nueva línea de investigación en el Dpto. de Química de la UNRC. Actualmente se están desarrollando nuevos sistemas fotoiniciadores de polimerización basados en nanopartículas aplicados en la síntesis de hidrogeles como parches dermatológicos y sistemas de encapsulación/liberación. También se está llevando a cabo el desarrollo de nanopartículas con propiedades teragnósticas y superficies antimicrobianas basadas en silsesquioxanos. Poseo experiencia en técnicas de caracterización de materiales poliméricos como en técnicas de caracterización fotoquímicas, aplicadas tanto a la caracterización de materiales en estado sólido, como de moléculas en solución. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
