Actualmente mi trabajo se centra en el desarrollo de nanomateriales biológicamente compatibles apra ser usados con fines antibacterianos en infecciones de patógenos resistentes a antibióticos. Luego de la síntesis, realizo ensayos in vitro e in vivo para caracterizar su potencial antibacteriano, o fotoinhibitorio (Terapia Fotodinñamica Antibacteriana), su biodisponibilidad, la toxicidad celular (cultivo celular colaboración U. Sao Paulo), la acumulación/excreción en ratas, etc. También llevo a cabo múltiples técnicas de estudio del estrés oxidativo con técnicas colorimétricas y fluorimétricas, incluyendo "single molecule" (colaboración con U.
