El principal objetivo de mis estudios en la carrera de investigación es destacar la evidencia fitolítica encontrada en secuencias pedosedimentarias con controles cronológicos absolutos para reconstruir la secuencia paleoambiental Finipleistocena-Holocena en el valle de Tafí y su integración regional. Así mismo esto puede realizarse en otros ambientes áridos y semiáridos del noroeste argentino y de otras regiones a nivel mundial.
