Mi campo de investigación es el estudio de las fuentes y transformaciones que sufren los elementos en el medio exógeno en un rango amplio de escalas espaciales y temporales. Estos estudios permiten conocer los procesos que condicionan el transporte y la remoción de los elementos del medio acuoso, así como también aportan criterios científicamente válidos que enriquecen los modelos de prospección de elementos estratégicos. Para alcanzar estos objetivos, utilizo equipamientos especiales que permiten la caracterización detallada de geomateriales, tales como XRD, SEM/EDX, EMPA, ICPMS, así como técnicas de luz sincrotrón (XAFS, XRF) e isotópicas. Además, muchos de los procesos observados en el campo son simulados en el laboratorio y los resultados obtenidos se utilizan para el modelado geoquímico. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
